I refuse to delete the tweet in question, as it was not in violation of any X rules. Users regularly post far worse comments, encouraging actual violence against human beings, with zero consequences. Yet because I said, "Heaven forfend she (Lauren Boebert) should get a clot in her brain," I am corvus non grata.

You said "Heaven forfend...", which clearly means God forbid...., which on the face of it means you don't want her to get a blood clot. However, X has decided you meant it ironically, and that, even though your statement says the opposite, you DO in fact want her to get a blood clot.

Is this an example of being punished for a thought crime...? 🤔

@Richard65 Precisely. I freely admit to using the phrase ironically, as Big Brother Elon assumes. However, I did not wish violence upon her, nor did I engage in any other practices I have seen the other side of the political divide conduct on a daily basis.

I was suspended for having a particular political view.

@CorvusBlackthorne that's my point, you didn't display a particular political view, you wrote a message which stated you hoped she didn't get a blood clot. X saw your message and decided that in your head you meant the opposite. Effectively, they punished you for what they thought you were thinking.

@Richard65 And my point is that I would not have been punished for that, were it not for the fact that I am very outspoken in my political views there. I have seen posts which are objectively far worse, and reported on such, only to find that the 𝕏 team did not find them to be in violation.
