Why are millionaires and billionaires annoyed about Twitter asking them to pay $8 a month? What's all that about?

Twitter has 450 million daily users. This fee effects about 450 thousand or roughly one tenth of one percent of the users.. what's the big deal?

Where was the outrage and concern then..
Verification is a process. Just like it is here, it's not automatic.. people cheat.. that's a fact too

People keep demonizing Musk over Twitter.. increasing the price would be a deterrent..
Musk eliminated tens of thousands of bots within days of buying it.. Twitter removed millions of bots as part of the due diligence process when they accepted Musks offer..
Those actions could be said to have enhanced user safety.. but nobody will mention that..
