WhatsApp sharing data with Facebook...

... what about people who already have Facebook, Facebook messenger or Instagram on their phone? Does the change in WhatsApp bother you at all?

Update: having looked closer to policy changes, apparently they've had to allow access to location details (possibly via Facebook services) only for registered business accounts to which you have voluntarily agreed contact via the app, to allow businesses to use the app more than before. They will not routinely be sending details such as phone numbers and location to Facebook otherwise, so they say.

@SW-User I know a lot of people use Facebook (which I don't) but location data from phone, for example, carries quite a lot extra, I think, because now people are probably on their phone more than on their computer. Google also tracks location info on Android phones, far as I know even if location is switched off for apps, apparently :(

@PhilDeep Your internet provider/phone carrier also tracks you but it doesn’t mean you’ll stop using your phone so it’s kinda pointless

@SW-User Depends who gets it. Google apparently definitely does if using Android. Facebook I've kept away from, so I don't want their paws on it as well now.
