I miss passive video chatting...

Many years ago I had a friend I regularly video called with for hours. We didn't talk all that time, but kept the connection open to watch each other on the side while we did some chores, with the occasional remark or question back and forth. (Mostly in writing because talking is difficult and tiring.)

It was a great way to keep each other motivated and productive longer than we did on our own, as well as a good way to get to know each other better by only asking questions when we had some rather than feeling forced to keep a conversation going continuously, as well as seeing facial expressions.

It didn't last because they were bipolar and questioned my honesty every other day, and when they got involved in scams and didn't want to be saved, I couldn't watch that unfold anymore. I do miss the kind of support and interaction of the good times though and wish I could have that with someone else again. (Although maybe not as long nowadays.)

@AngelKrish oh wow... That's quite a long time though and I bet it's even better when romance is added to the mix too.
@NerdyPotato by you was it also romantic?
@BridgeOvertroubledWaters at some point it became that way a little.
@NerdyPotato did you ever meet up ?
@BridgeOvertroubledWaters no, it only stayed online.
