Omegle has closed. What is your experience with the site?

I thought it was going to be a site about the glorious combination of omelettes and bagels.

It had nothing to do with omelettes or bagels. That’s probably why it shut down.

Pedo's use most platforms, not just Omegle. There is almost not a single social interactive web site that are not used for sex, extortion and all sorts of things

I tried it a couple of times because it sounded like an interesting experiment in online communication. But it was pretty clear that everyone I ran into was someone looking for sexual chat! lol

I think my longest conversation was about three seconds.

In retrospect, I was pretty naïve about what to expect.

A horrible place. A lot of teenagers/kids trying to talk to people and at the same time a lot of man with their weiners out, just very disturbing.

And what now that Omegle has closed? It's good that they closed it, there was no moderation there. Instead of this old platform, there are a bunch of various video chats with AI based moderation now, for example, [removed by staff]. They ban perverts right away there.

I visited it once, got in a chat with someone and their first question was if I was a guy. I replied "yes" and they disconnected. I thus figured it was mostly dudes cruising for women and never went back.

I never used it, but I watched compilations. Some were really funny while others were concerning to downright disgusting. Especially the racist and pedo ones

It's been known for child predators to use

Sleazy, slimy, bedeviled by sick predators.

Zero experience with that site.

First time I've ever heard of Omegle
