Meeting my New Director Today
My new Director is meeting all the employees individually by Teams for a "face to face". As I get older I hate this stuff more and more. It's Friday for fs.

At least you did not have to dress up and parade around on a grass parade field and stand for hours in heat of freezing temps listening to an exciting general and incoming general give their meaningless speeches to the troops who are screaming inside " It is hot/cold as hell, and we don't give a shit"!

@WillaKissing That is almost as bad as listening to all the corporate cheerleaders and scripted bullshit at our town halls! yes at least I'm comfortable!

@JimboSaturn I tell you what all dressed up in woolen 1900 century parade outfits in the summer were the worst standing there trying not to lock your knees to keep from passing out. We had riffles with bayonets on them and sometimes when the guy in front of you passed out from locking his knees and fell backwards and you did not move your riffle fast enough you would impale him, or worst yet if he fell forward on his own riffle and bayonet, A lot of damn stitches for stupid speeches.

@Babaloo64 And why I hated them so much so, each flipping general had to ramble about nothing for 10 minutes longer than the guy before him. I was look maybe in the 1800's people cared, but damn can't you just take office and leave office graciously without torturing the troops that serve you? Damn!
