Was video calling my sister for a good three hours 😂

Then she has to drop on me after a bit of a pause: “I miss you.” 🥺 We haven’t seen each other for a couple of weeks now since her daughter caught Covid and is still testing positive, we haven’t been able to see each other much. 😭 We’re the two most inseparable pair of sisters you’ll meet. Even now when we’re both in our thirties, we really hate not seeing each other for a long time. The moment she was video calling me earlier, I knew we’d be catching up for hours. 🤭 I just love how we never run out of things to talk about. Her and I share so much in common and are so compatible, we’ve probably spent a combined time of at least a few of years of us just chatting with one another. We’ve always been so close… That’s why it’s always hard for us to be apart for so long. 💔 It wasn’t until the very end of our hours-long video call that things got bittersweet. I had to mention how today is National Hug Day and she expressed sadness that she couldn’t hug me today, which just made my heart ache even more. 😞 But we promised to spend time together as soon as her daughter starts testing negative. I’ll take a day off from work if I have to. When we’ve been separated for so long, nothing short of divine intervention is keeping me from seeing my wonderful big sister. 🤗
