@DeluxedEdition most toxic, ignorant, racist platform I have come across. It is worse than Twitter. And I got banned on Twitter for threatening an open pedophile self proclaimed “MAP”. If that tells you anything
It is definitely having a negative impact on society by the observation of the comments. Tiktok glamorize toxic relationships, mental illness without seeking therapy, racism toward white people and many other things I can’t even fit into categories. It’s like it’s diminishing rational logic. Women posting things like “I have no criminal background and dating a felon, we’re so in love” and all the comments are saying things like “I wish that was me.” “You’re so lucky”
Or the video of the south Floridian lip syncing to a song while the house fills up with water and she says “it’s a Lana del ray vibe”
The insurmountable ignorance and flat out stupidity ( I don’t throw that word around lightly) genuinely concerns me for society. I think that TikTok is a propaganda tool used to push fucked up narratives and spread misinformation
