SW Andrew and/or Nuno...I hope you saw my friend's comment?

"ABCDEF7 · M
The feed is totally messed up. What ever configurations you try, It just shows you what you follow, not what you want to see.

If I comment on two posts of a user, it just keeps showing me his/her posts, even if I have already visited them.

It never thinks what I want to see, I never shows me new posts in groups I follow.

If it is managed by some AI. I would say, it's better to let humans decide what they want to see.

Some of my friends has even left SW because of this issue"

Although I don't seem to be having an issue, some people do.

It's weird it's effecting random users I for one been through this for a long time and I don't think they will ever going to change it.

I ask and complain to them...

And what do I get? "Nope....everything is fine"

@FreestyleArt I don't know why random users would be affected. Perhaps their online habits differ? I see lots of people in my feed, but I also give an emoji comment to almost every person I see on any given question that interests me. I wonder if that might affect the feed?

@4meAndyou Maybe you are right. When ever I like a post by some user new to me and visits their profile. When I comes back to home page, it is full of their posts.

@ABCDEF7 That seems to make sense! Try visiting the forums of subjects that interest you, and "Like" the posts and comments of all the members who belong to that forum...and I'll bet the feed populates!

@4meAndyou Lol.. You maybe right.

That is why I said, "The feed doesn't follow what you want to see, it follows whatever you follows."
4meAndyou · F
@ABCDEF7 So there is greater variety in greater numbers.
ABCDEF7 · M
@4meAndyou You have to be active for this to work.

But I am like, I logs in and want to see some posts from my friends and groups I follow. I may not frequently like the posts from them.

I think it's an unnecessary exercise to like a post if you want the same source to be included in your feed.

@ABCDEF7 no wonder....i'm rarely active.

@ABCDEF7 I am not sure how that could be fine tuned...it would take a really skilled person to alter the algorithm
ABCDEF7 · M
@4meAndyou I guess, Andrew is in charge of it. Being a programmer and web developer myself, I can say, it would be a complex algorithm, but there are ways to structure even the complex of logics.
