This place

Is this an exclusive club where there's only one type of person that is allowed to say anything or is this a discussion group site? When one stays curteous then only there's indeed discussion possible. When I get into a situation when there's no civility left, like people starting to become abusive verbally and intellectually, then I leave the discussion. When someone tells me that I'm stalking them, well, I ask them to leave my postings alone and I'll do the same to them. How can one actually start off a discussion when there's no possible respect in the first place? No, I'm not having that either. Not blocking nor ignoring. Just doing what I do in the real world. Treating people with respect and whenever needed backing off. So I guess that my question remains. What sort of site is this?

@LoneVoice Yes, I hear you. We stand strong with others. Was proving that democratic socialism was the way to go and that Lenin was yet another Bonaparte in a quiet way and I think that I got through to that person alright. Not point scoring but trying to get him back to normal lefties. I suppose I'm that too a bit because of being a christian democrat :-)
