When I moved to a country with a large Asian population, one of the first things a Chinese man brought up to me was ‘we all look the same, don’t we? XD’ and I told him how in the west we are overly sensitive to any sort of comment like that. But then went ahead and joked about it because there is just such an inauthentic feel to these people who want to prove how not racist they are.
