Im starting to hate texting.

Right there with you. It feels like so much pressure to be attentive to a screen instead of actually spending time together.

I truly miss when people would stop by.

I've been ignoring texts for years.

I ignore texts until I get around to it. Sometimes I'll respond within an hour, sometimes not for an hour or more, and if it's later in the evening, maybe not at all.

I also have the "Do Not Disturb" function set to come on at 9 at night until 6 the following morning.

There are three people whom I respond to immediately (or fairly quickly), and those by pass the Do Not Disturb and have their own notification and ring alarms set.

Some men just want a texting buddy instead of spending quality time in person with a woman.
