My review on reddit as I joined 3 months ago...

UNBELIEVABLE!

Where do I begin? People aged between 16-20 just talking about their love lives and how "They can't be together " or looking for advise on "strengthening their relationship" as if they know the meaning of true love!

As for commenting? Expect the truth reply to get deleted and what people wanna read not got deleted. The comments are repetitive "Be strong!" "Have faith" anything else is considered an offense and "Moderators" will delete comments.

Want to post something? If not in the right category expect it to be deleted with msg from "Moderator" explaining it's in the wrong group.

Any normal posts with a small joke? Deleted. Question the post with comment? Comment deleted. Question a comment and call them nazi grammar? Banned from the category for a week.

Okay.. Okay. Name calling, pedos, racist and bullying I understand. All that needs to be deleted. But "This post has been deleted as u don't have enough karma points..." 🤔

Joining reddit made me realise the value of SW... Probably and clearly one of thee saddest statement anyone will ever read from me, online. This place is the same "No bullying, harassment, pedos" etc. But the freedom of speech is there. Speaking what we feel doesn't get deleted. Nobody has "love" problems they openly display. We banter and we seriously banter, argue only to be chatting to each other again. Group categories are not taken to face value.

I have been not much active on here lately. Reddit has its merits but too much deletion and comments must be repetitive! I am surprised Reddit has, somehow, made it to the top. Okay, protecting users is one thing but it denies freedom of speech and a long ass post getting deleted for not being in right category?? Although composers can see the post then cut n copy but it seriously can be less of a motivation to do it again.

It is a truth universally acknowledged, that trolls are a constant scourge of all online communities. I think this fact is related to why subreddits strongly tend to devolve into echo chambers, with moderators taking great joy in deleting unconformity. I can't explain how reddit made it to the top, but I guess many folks can adapt themselves to the echo chamber format in exchange for a larger audience.

P.S. Merry Christmas!!!
