Just signed up, first post

Hey everyone! I heard about this forum on Reddit. I am 21, and I never used any forums growing up. I've only ever used popular social media platforms, and so I was curious about a place with a tight-knit community with less toxicity. I've only looked around for a couple minutes so far, and I'm pretty confused still on how everything here works. But already I am reminded of early 2010's internet culture, and so I'm excited. Many topics here seem interesting, and I look forward to exploring more! (I have no idea where this will be posted to or if anyone will see it at all, so bare with me.)
