@Londonn no, it is a curse of the internet. Back at school I was in the top groups, so did not have the issue of coming across idiots in debate pretending to be intelligent. It is easy to spot those who are stupid, they immediately resort to name calling, emojis/mockery and falling back on whatever the dominant narrative is.
I don’t know a single person in my gifted and talented groups who were not reading into at least one thing demonized as a ‘conspiracy theory’, today
