Saw this post on reddit about the Gillette ad where the poster outlined (with an analogy) why he was upset with it

Just like racists, there are few feminists who go around saying "All men are horrible".

Most people understand that you can't label whole groups as any one thing. That being said, I don't really see a bad thing in presenting an ad that shows men being good examples and asking all men to be better where they can.

I don't see that commercial and think, "Well I am not perfect, so they must think I am horrible" I see it and think, "Yea we do have some societal problems with toxic masculinity, we do need to work on them".
