Indeed. Here's how I look at it. If I wasn't on the computer I wouldn't grab a stranger and yank them into a private corner and say "hi" followed by me staring at them in silence waiting for them to talk to me. I'd rather get to know something about them first. Like whether or not they shower regularly. Some corners aren't well ventilated.

@ilostmypants94 that's the only advantage of it. When PM's became available people interacted less in public posts, and it became easier for pervs to hit on 13 year old girls
