On the rare occasions when I reach out to someone first, I always make it clear on what I'm messaging them for - what I wish to discuss with them. Messaging someone and then just saying you're up for chatting about anything... That doesn't make any sense to me! If you're not reaching out to someone to talk about anything in particular, then why bother? Isn't that a little strange or is it just me? 🤔
