Does that mean like using cylindrical reflectors to concentrate light onto smaller bars of thermophotovoltaic material? Thus using much less processed silicon and more cheap metal reflectors?? Cool!!

@ElwoodBlues It doesn't have to be cylindrical. Umm, and Silicon is alright, but then the whole prototype will have to be a lot bigger. I think a little expensive is also okay, we are considering GaSb PV cells. But they are shot expensive.

@ElwoodBlues And my research is about using Aluminum for the selective emitters (umm, not exactly reflectors, but for similar goals), and use it for medium grade heat as input.
