I tried instagram and threads but nobody talked to me there
at first I got excited but then realized it was just indian scammers and bots like everywhere

Instagram is a pain in the ass. I hate myself for making a profile there. People indeed talk but it's very easy to fall into stupid arguments because it's full of people who just search for opportunities to be pissed off and argue with you. The algorithm itself is built on controversy and fills the feed with stuff that is supposed to pitch people against each other, induce victim mentality and stuff like that.
