I Have Been ' Blocked '

Some one named americafirst blocked me after I tried to defend the healthcare system in the US. This person claimed things just not substantiated by any available data. Amazing that his only recourse to truth was blocking my response! It is truly sad when someone floats a false issue, refuses to defend it and than uses the only recourse to open discussion he can. This isnt the America I love and gave of my time to serve.

Many Americans don't see a whole lot in the health care system to defend, it is imbued with class differences in levels of care and unfairness based on income and that corrodes morale here...among many other things.

@Platoscave we really do not have a true system. Under ACA almost all are covered or able to find coverage. For the past 6 years it has been under fire for its problems, rather than repair it, many would prefer to knock w0 million off it and leave them uncovered.

I am in favor of a universal coverage system, but achieving that with the politics which exist is very difficult. There really is no acceptable "model" for the US to adopt without significant compromise and adaptation, something this country seems to have lost the ability to achieve!

@samueltyler2 I haven't lost it.

@Platoscave consider yourself lucky. Many have already, and more may still.

@samueltyler2
i have no luck if most people feel defeated...and forced to submit to abuse.

I feel decidedly unlucky.

@Platoscave in what way?

@samueltyler2 I am more than my private little life and private little...fate.

So if most people are losing out I GET WORRIED. I NEED A BETTER WAY AND NO B.S. OR "COMPROMISES". I love truth, struggle for truth, and consensus. We need to show our citizens that we are a compassionate country and a great way to start is single payer health.

And I would say that even if my private fate was usually luckier than other peoples'

@Platoscave I do have hope that somehow, truth and wisdom will prevail. That will lead to discussions that may be able to bridge tjebgaps needed to provide inivetsal coverage without destroying the lives of millions and without benefiting one group over another.
