Blocking Isn't New

Even before the 80`s.

Unfortunately you could still hear the beeping when you took it off the hook.

That was before even the new Jack that could be unplugged.

How about this dialing UL3-1212 later just 1212 for the time. 😈

Or worse, party lines. You could pick up the phone and hear your neighbors talking to someone else! 😈

That ended I believe in the mid 60s though. But I was 6 then and nosy as heck.

selective blocking perhaps? The old school method blocked everybody!

you cant slam a mobile phone down on the other person 😑
