It puzzles me how some see blocking as "censorship"…

@bijouxbroussard but, I have been approached by others saying how wrong I was to block certain people. Saying I hurt their feelings……you know what when others have approached me in that manner they are now blocked too. I don’t have time for others pity parties.

@Indy74 Wow. People really need to mind their own business in that regard. They have no way of knowing what the interaction was or what your reasons were. I blocked someone who’s well-liked (and that’s okay) because they said something particularly ugly to me; a friend privately asked me why, and I was honest. They asserted that I must’ve "misunderstood”.
To their credit, when that person eventually insulted them, too, they came back and let me know.

This place is supoosed to be a free place to interact peacefully.
Therefore, you want to keep it free TO interact peacefully.

It depends upon ones priorities: peace vs conflict.

Unfortunately, some do LOVE their conflict and drama.
And its YOUR choice not to waste time on faffing around with some drama queen.

@OogieBoogie even the men go do the drama thing…..why did you block so and so. Their feelings are hurt. That person got blocked too!! Not your business!!

@Indy74 So true 👍 I posted something a while ago, a pic and a little fun post. Someone started commenting on something that was in the background of the pic. A political argument started between two people. I deleted the argument and commented that bickering comments had been deleted, if people wanted to argue then they could do it in private messages. One person said he believed that "points raised in public posts should be addressed in public" 🙄. He was spoiling a fun post so I blocked him too 😆🤗👍

@Fluffybull there ya go!! Theres a time and place for it. They can take it to a political post and not on a fun post. People tire me out, i tell ya!! 😝😂
