I just found another deep insight on the effects of using sleeping pills, by using it
The noises, the entertainment, the problems, the questions—everything swirling around you—begin to fade away from the center of your attention. None of it feels sharp anymore. Nothing pricks at you. It’s all just there, harmless, background. And what remains in front of you is a singular bowl that enchants your attention… and the bowl has chips in it.
No worries about tomorrow. No worries about today. No concerns about when to sleep or when to wake for work. Just a simple existence with one sole purpose—momentary, yes, but complete in its clarity—to eat… them… chips.
Then, inevitably, the chips run out.
So what now?
We add more chips, and see how long that lasts before we have to find a new solution.
This, I believe, is my new philosophy. One that might lead—if not to eternal peace itself—at least to a kiss from it. I intend to spend certain days of my life pursuing this state, aspiring to let it exist as naturally as my own breathing. This is the way.
If I could capture this sensation precisely, distill it into words that hold the same charge as the experience, I believe it could help people. But perhaps it can only be truly understood when lived.
I know it might sound vague—maybe even as if it’s teetering on the edge of delusion—since it plays with the idea that a small, intentional shift in behavior could change the entire architecture of the mind. But this level of calm, clarity in what is truly important---and more so, what isn't---is too potential for a better life to just leave it unexplored.
Further investigation is required. But also from the opposite side, by sober me. Although there is a chance that it will be like handing your ides over to a stranger on paper and telling them to understand what is being said, without any guidance available from your part. Maybe we should trade notes in our different states. 🕵
I find this exciting. Did this confuse anyone?
