there's a weird tendency of some people to give super off topic, uninteresting, hostile replies and others ask goofy questions and then jump all over anyone who tries to give remotely reasonable answers. I think it all combines with general miscommunication to put the site into a deathspiral.
Because we don't get all notifications of replies... I'm having to manually check my recent posts for new replies. Do you really want me to go through all 10908 posts I created and check them all for new replies???
