Facebook is now true bloatware - even when used on a desktop or laptop PC

My former favourite FB 'wrapper' app called Metal (developed by Nam Nghiem) is no longer supported and no longer exists in the Google app servers.

I do not and will not use the native FB app because it's been bloatware forever.

So except for my PC at home where FB still takes forever to load, I've stopped using FB on all mobile devices apart from my Android 10 tablet (Samsung tab s4 - soon to be replaced probably with a tab s8) which still has the metal wrapper app installed.

FB really has little to no social connectivity value any more.

Mostly just use it to keep in touch with family and friends from high school who also still use it.

@PicturesOfABetterTomorrow similar - a lot of my current and former work colleagues are on it plus some family. I use whatsapp a bit for that too. The rest of FB has gone beyond the point of stupid irrelevance now.

@zonavar68 When I joined in 2016 I used it to keep in touch with family and friends. More and more friends no longer use it and I also used to use it to post my photography. Like Instagram it is getting useless for that.
