should i care if at times if my posts get no likes or attention on facebook

i just have 162 friends on facebook, years back i had a good friend from san diego called 'joannie', an elderly woman who was a good friend to me who used to always love & like my posts, but sadly she passed away years ago with terminal cancer, a very sad time for me....there's been a void ever since.

now commonly on facebook my posts only get liked and loved by my elderly parents...no one else pays attention to them or likes them?....that sometimes winds me up and gets to me...because i would like more likes and attention.

but i can't make people do what they don't want to, i can't force someone to like my posts against their will.

so what do you do?

@MsSwan yeah maybe i should limit my time on social media period, it just isn't the same anymore.

You should not care.
If you can't help but care... do you comment on other people's posts? Just like on here, you might get more reactions if you are more interactive.
But also... is there no way for you to reach out and connect with some people in real life?
