Free speech is gone 😢
Speech is only free if you agree with the New Liberal World Order.
I believe you can still say whatever you want whenever you want.

He replied to a post with "I wonder how much the Democrats are paying people to testify about January 6th". He said his suspension was instant. Lol!!! 🤣🤣🤣🤣

Why even bother with FB? Supposedly their censorship is out of hand.
I never post there and use it maybe 10 minutes a week.

Screw that website

@CestManan should you have freedom of speech on fb?
CestManan · 46-50, F
@SW-User Well I mean the place is outdated. Why wouldn't people just find other places?
I have never been much into FB, it just always seemed weird.

@CestManan I just use it mainly to monitor the crap my sisters post. Live in the same city. One made a fool out of herself at the city council meeting last night. And posted on FB about it. I watched the city council video on You Tube after it was posted.

@cherokeepatti Nothing wrong with spectating. But yeah nothing good seems to come from posting much on there.

@CestManan I post nothing personal at all and it’s due to my sisters. I don’t want them coming around me, they are both narcissistic & eventually will make trouble for me even when I do things to help. I act civil the rare times I see them in a public place like a store but don’t volunteer anything & try to move on as quick as possible.
CestManan · 46-50, F
@cherokeepatti That is one common reason people do not share much personal stuff there, is because most of us do have those acquaintances that we do not want knowing too much.
cherokeepatti · 61-69, F
@CestManan I wouldn’t mind keeping in touch with other relatives. It was all of one sister’s children who were asking me to make a FB page and add them to it. If I posted something to whatever they posted they would never reply. So I don’t post any comments or whatever to their stuff or volunteer any of my info. I do have several groups I am on like Keto, and some humor groups. There used to be company groups and blogger people who had giveaways if you left comments on something they posted and I don’t see any of those any more.

@cherokeepatti FB is basically a political dump hole anymore it seems.

@CestManan when considering the “freedom of speech that we have in the bill of rights…

Does that apply to Facebook posts?
CestManan · 46-50, F
@SW-User Unless it is threatening terrorist acts or encouraging people to "check out early" I would say yes.

One reason people leave platforms is when they become over-moderated.

FB is boring enough as it is even without speech restrictions.
I don't personally care what they do cause I am a very light user but for those who do enjoy it, let them have their fun.
SW-User
@CestManan Your yes, is what I was getting to..
Their only obligation is to their shareholders, not users. They have to show a profit.
Free speech does not apply.
People have free speech against the government…but not on a for profit social media platform

They got in trouble with fake accounts manipulating people ..so they had to take drastic measures to show stakeholders .

✌🏼

@SW-User the shareholders are about the only people companies seem to care about.
Part of why the world is screwed up
