Why is it so hard to set up a trolling account on Facebook? [I Hate Facebook]

They actually wanted me to send them a copy of my driver's license just to set up a new trolling account! Now what am I supposed to do for fun? I keep using my real Facebook but so far I've gone from over 400 friends to 244. All of those people I actually knew and one was my ex girlfriend. I don't know what took her so long, if I was her I would've blocked me a long time ago.

Because they want you to definitively confirm your identity so they can locate all the information they have stored up on you so they know how to effectively market to you.

That's the whole reason Facebook exists.
