I love reading -- probably around 200 books a year for 60+ years.
daydeeo · 61-69, M
@ChipmunkErnie So that's almost 4 books a week, every week of the year?🧐
ChipmunkErnie · 70-79, M
@daydeeo Sometimes more, sometimes less. All depends on the books. When I'm in the mood I might read a book a day.

Beautifully put.

It's good to have you here!! and I share much of your sentiments.May you find many more memories in this current iteration of your SW experience. I don't know the stories of those who left are hardly here anymore, but we should always be holding loosely all that is not eternal, that's a phrase an old pal used to say, he held the religious theological views that i'm obsessed with, and it's a phrase that I find encompasses making do with how life just happens to be, people come and go, to hold loosely then would be to appreciate the little time we have for others who are special, keeping in mind how fleeting it all is, for everybody all the time, the all in the same boat is another analogy that can rationally rearrange our thoughts, to then get to the matter at hand and going forward.

EP is gone but there are some lovely people here too. Xx

Very nice.
I could add a few more "artists" to that list that are absent now. Not many left.

I miss the community we had on EP. It was rare and special and a different time. I still value and try to provide and find kindness, compassion, community, truth, respect, and understanding . SW is a different space, but there are good people here.

So you have read at least one book a month non stop for the last 45 years. Taking that you started reading books at the age of ten. Is that right?

@TheHammer I guess I've always been a bit of a geek, and love learning things. It's of late in particular, that I have started trusting people a lot more and seeing value in interacting a lot more. So much to learn, always, friend. Thank you for your kind words :)

@justmeonline Trusting and interacting, being more ppen with others - exactly what I've been learning, too, over the ladt couple years. I find that when I am more open and sharing, wonderful synchronicities occur. 😊
