EP, SW and the wisdom of artists

I read a lot of books. We're talking more than hundreds, well over a thousand, on just about most things anyone could think of. That's the academic in me. Equally, there is the creative in me, who is inspired by artistry. I believe there is such wisdom that can be found in artistic expression. When I first started using EP, one of the things that impressed me most, aside from the empathy and kindness so easily found in the close little community we loved, was the authentic, creative expression of people's truth. To this day, what brings me back to SW when I am grieving the recent loss of my father, are those same qualities of empathy, and artistry. Nostalgia leads me to remember some of those dear folks, many of whom may either not be on SW now, or very rarely. WiseOldOwl, Datura and OrangeTas; Fungirlmmm; FeistyLilMinx, GoliathTree and Sonnet; LG...76, was it, Mirages, L3D3 and others also spring to mind. Although a lot happened, especially in the later days of EP, it is the authenticity of such artists I hold dear. It is the remaining empathy and artistry on SW I value most.
