Yes, I don't get it. Right now there are supposedly 114 people on line, but barely anyone writes anything, and most post are light-hearted "fun" stuff with no depth, posted hours ago.

Many years ago there were two different sections in SW: "stories" and "chat". The "stories" section was more thoughtful and engaging, the chat was just bored people trying to be funny. Then they removed the "stories" section and the site became just bored people trying to be funny.

I didn't help that since Donald Trump became a thing, the site has become flooded with Russian bots pretending to support the MAGA idiocy (I mute all those idiots), and understandably that has made many people stay away.

All in all, I find society as a whole getting lazier, dumber and more entitled

It's not about the place. It's about the way people have changed overall. This style of a social site may no longer be relevant.

Don't see much difference between them tbh except the participation here has dwindled. It used to be hopping here with all the same judgemental people who thought they were better than the other judgemental, snarky people.

Now it's just some of them realized it either doesn't matter, started worshipping politics, went to the dark pervy side they pretended not to be a part of or left all together. 🤷🏾‍♀
