Do You All Gatekeep SW?

I’ve been gatekeeping the site since we were EP. I didn’t like to tell people about EP because I felt that this was the way for me to write freely on here. Having people I knew in real life on here would have inhibited me from feeling comfortable posting a lot of the stuff I had posted over the years.

Second question… I also noticed that we still have a lot of EP OGs (originals) over here (a fact that made my heart swell with joy). Is there anybody on here who isn’t from EP and if so… how did you find the site? It has never come up in any searches for me. If I hadn’t come here after EP fell I never would have known this site existed.

@deadmoon Haha! Yeah I dunno half of what people are saying anymore. But no I don't gatekeep this place, I never talked about EP either back in the day to people. Maybe just an unconscious keeping of the worlds apart.

@Allelse I get it. I do the same whenever I am talking to someone from Gen Z, lol. I probably had to ask what “gatekeeping” meant the first time I heard it too. But it essentially means guarding something or keeping something a secret. What you described might be gatekeeping though for the purpose of keeping your SW life and your real life separate.

@deadmoon Yeah I suppose it is, though I know my few other friends also wouldn't be interested. I mean at least EP was an insane nut house, but it's a bit calmer here, so not as exciting.
