Probably to escape attention from the murder stuff. Honestly they did nothing but change the website to a new name and not announce it much.

@Captainjackass EP didn't change its name. SW was started by an entirely different team recognizing the void EP's closure left behind. It has nothing to do with the old site beyond taking inspiration from its concept. The SW team didn't even have access to EP's databases beyond content on public pages.
