Experience project?
God I miss that site. Are there any other sites other than this that are similar? Please share if so. Does anyone know why exactly they took down that site? It seemed to be doing so well.

I've searched many times over the years for an EP substitute, but SW is the closest thing I've found.
It isn't comparable to EP though. I've been finding it much harder to click with people here. At EP there was such a diversity of people and forum subjects, which made it much easier to find friends with common interests.
Also historically, I think the original purpose of EP was to be a medical support site. When I joined in 2007 that spirit of support was still alive. Consequently there was nowhere near the amount of trolling and bullying that you find here.

@SW-User Makes me sad. Maybe one day they will invent something better. I do like this site but I want more privacy options without having to pay for it. I would love to disable comments to have that option because sometimes I just want to write and vent without judgment or people being nasty because they have a different point of view.

@Doglover44 I can relate. I doubt I'd be willing to pay for this site when my 500 blocks run out. As soon as I came back 2 weeks ago, after a hiatus of 2 years, there were too many people mocking/ judging anything I said. It made me concerned that I was being followed by someone who knows me from offline. Disabling comments wouldn't stop that either, as they create new posts to vent their disapproval rather than attacking me directly.

@SW-User I never ever experienced judgment, mocking, or being bullied on EP. This site god forbid you write a post you have someone trying to argue with you because they don't like what you said. Like umm pretty sure this is my journal / my experience so please go somewhere with your toxicity. I never had to use the block button on EP but here I'm new I'm pretty certain I will have to. Hell, I already blocked a couple of people for trying to argue. Some people have no life and find a thrill in it. Like they need validation from others they must not have been hugged enough as a child. Me on the other hand I won't waste my time to argue I will just block your crusty arse.
