I Am Taking a Break From Ep

I took a break. Not really a planned one, I just fell out of the habit. It’s funny, I go through times where I’m on here commenting away each moment I can squeeze in, and others where I can go a month without even thinking of the site at all.

I came back today because I am in a bit of a writing mood. It started last night, when a friend from work DMed me on Instagram for advice. We exchanged messages for a bit and it left me feeling happy and valued. We chat there occasionally, over cat pictures or work gossip, but this was a real “help me figure this out” question.

So this morning I was going through my email and sent a note to a friend that I’d emailed with constantly over a three year period, but had somehow fallen out of touch with. She’s someone I met on EP, in fact. So I sent a “Hi, how are you?” to her. Then I went to Kik and sent two “Hi 👋🏻‘s” out into the void. And lastly, here I am, writing up a story at SW for the first time in a couple months.
