I Hate It When People Disappear On Ep

It is a giant pet peeve of mine and we've all been guilty of doing it. But when you lead someone on and find a connection..how do you know that person is ok with it. Random thoughts and insecurities blossom. Its not fun having your heart and soul played with. Maybe you didnt mean too as you got busy. But after a week of not hearing i choose to pretend that they died instead of being a jerk.

I got so used to people just upping and disappearing that it no longer matters to me. I expect anyone to just do it.
There seem to be different rules of consideration online.

@SW-User its really sad that us as humans have to accept that nowadays. You are right there seems to be different rules for online. Its still hurtful

@Moonbeamsglow Yeah. Someone I considered a close friend abandoned me twice last year. And when I told him its hurtful, he tells me he just did it twice. Not a big deal.
Well its a big deal to me.
And that was friendship ruined for me. I don't bother giving him time.
And when online friendships are so dispensable, I am no longer willing to invest in them.

Right! Even in real life i find it hard as everyone is so self absorbed or cobstantly looking down at a screen. I guess its the world now. I prefer to have a small group who are just as invested and also does the work of friendships. Im sorry he did that too you. I know we all do it but i try to be aware and if i find a true 'ship' id give my email etc to a friend. People sometimes suck

@Moonbeamsglow I'm lucky I do not have this in real. Most people I hang out with are respectful. They won't stick their noses in their phones the whole time.
As for him doing it to me, well in some way I guess it was a relief. I'd rather know my value sooner than later.

That is a great outlook! It is best to find out sooner or later. Yes i end those friendship after a few times of speaking with them. So my group is small. I understand emergencies but if all you are doing is swiping right..i must be boring them then.

@Moonbeamsglow Or they cannot settle down with anything substantial, they need to do a 1000 of them together. :) Either way, not our cup of tea.
