I Want to Improve the Experience Project

For The Love Of All That Is Holy........... I admit to having a page on that other site. Great for keeping up with family and all that good stuff.

The one thing I notice over there is that the changes are small, few and far between.

I know I am adding a whisper to the screams of every one else but HOLY CRAP EP!!!!! WTF!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Who is justifying his existence in your shop to warrant all this BS? Is his job desc<x>ription to f&ck things up to the point of pissing everyone off???

We don't make changes for the sake of change. In fact, we know that even the smallest change, no matter how great, is disruptive so we limit changes to those that we believe will have a large positive impact on the community as a whole.

Your feedback matters and before we roll out changes there is months of prep and you can often test out and offer feedback on features months before it's released, during it's early development. You can do this by visiting your account settings and opting into any one of our beta tests.

If there's a specific change you've found frustrating please contact me directly so I can collect more details and be sure they're addressed. You can also email help@experienceproject.com.

The problem seems to be people choosing the beta testing and not being able to go back to original settings. You should have a choice, it shouldn't be a permanent decision. Why should we have to spend tokens for gestures???

Maybe what I am trying to say is take a page from FB's playbook. Why? I dunno...maybe because it's the most popular social networking site of all time. I am on FB maybe once or twice a month. Every time I go back I can still figure out how the stuff works beacasue they haven't messed with it!!

a side suggestion is to build EP like modules and let people select versions of how things should be run, however it should be a take it or leave it kind of thing as I understand the issues with legacy code. I'd still redo the entire site and pick priorities and go with what works. Everything is too cluttered and doesn't have an cohesive feel. Pleasing everybody will just make things worse. Stick to a clean model and let the audience that can't adjust to change go away. an Unusable/efficient site is not a fair trade for a existing audience.
