I Want to Improve the Experience Project

For The Love Of All That Is Holy........... I admit to having a page on that other site. Great for keeping up with family and all that good stuff.

The one thing I notice over there is that the changes are small, few and far between.

I know I am adding a whisper to the screams of every one else but HOLY CRAP EP!!!!! WTF!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Who is justifying his existence in your shop to warrant all this BS? Is his job desc<x>ription to f&ck things up to the point of pissing everyone off???

exactly the spell check for story creation hasn't worked for IE users since 2009 their solution isn't to configure upgrade updates and updates site features to the whopping 4 major browsers on the market

oh no they just told me when one day I logged on and all it would do is refresh every page to make sure I had the latest version of IE (problem that was feb./march and IE 10 for windows 7 did not load onto my PC though automatic update until first week of april)

what I was, was I needed to stop loading the site in compatibility mode as far as I know if you use advanced editor for messages it still refreshes the page in that mode

the story editor won't let you create a basic line break in advanced mode, if you try to update a story you can't paste in content say from word or anywhere you have to hand type every word, comma or semi colon w/o needed make it readable line breaks because edit story only displays in edit mode (guess which finger i'm holding up right now)

And instead of dealing with this they created a new header, their betaing a new message system, they have jumbled the categories so bad people cannot find them, people don't know how to put their story in the right group, can't find new groups to join or know if their already is a group on their topic/experience.

and EPArsineh has the audacity to say they "don't make changes for the sake of change" the hell they don't

The problem seems to be people choosing the beta testing and not being able to go back to original settings. You should have a choice, it shouldn't be a permanent decision. Why should we have to spend tokens for gestures???

Maybe what I am trying to say is take a page from FB's playbook. Why? I dunno...maybe because it's the most popular social networking site of all time. I am on FB maybe once or twice a month. Every time I go back I can still figure out how the stuff works beacasue they haven't messed with it!!

a side suggestion is to build EP like modules and let people select versions of how things should be run,however it should be a take it or leave it kind of thing as I understand the issues with legacy code. I'd still redo the entire site and pick priorities and go with what works. Everything is too cluttered and doesn't have an cohesive feel. Pleasing everybody will just make things worse. Stick to a clean model and let the audience that can't adjust to change go away. an Unusable/efficient site is not a fair trade for a existing audience.

the point EPArsineh is the guy goes to FB and can actually operate the site VS this place it's so jumbled ITS NOT USABLE ANYMORE !!!
