I Just Had A Weird EP Moment

Young man, ages 22-25, whom I had never had any interaction with on the public thread just started messaging me. Because I didn't see anything pervy or offensive in his profile, I accepted his message and messaged him back. To keep this from being filtered out of the main EP homepage, I'll post the details of the interaction below.

Some people are really weird ..one day I received a new message from someone . I expected to ,,hi " or ,,hey" but that guy sent me a photo and told like if he needs to shave or not ..I told like do what you like and I block him quickly

Good idea. It's best to end those interactions as quickly as possible, because they seem to thrive on continued interaction and attention, even if it's negative attention.

Don't these people make you smile. I had a friend request on Facebook. She reckoned she was a friend of a friend so accepted. Second message was I would love to hear your voice but my phone has broken. Would you send me an iPhone so I could chat with you! I know I'm old but not quite reached senility yet😀

Oh my goodness. I've heard some crazy things, but that's really something. Yeah, it does make one wonder, what kinds of fools do they take us for? I guess they figure it's worth taking a gamble on the slim to none chance (and slim just left the room) that someone just might be gullible (and desperate) enough to believe them and do what they want. And some people are just nuts.

I'm always amazed when I hear on the news that someone lost £10k in a scam. They sent the money to someone in Nigeria who informed them of a million pounds win and they just had to send a release fee!

Wow. I get emails sometimes telling me that I may have won some big money, but they need my information. I just delete those emails immediately. With all the information that we have available to us now, it is amazing that some people are still that naïve. Of course, it's also sad that there are people out there who take advantage of people like that.
