Those services are the ones commonly used to conceal criminal/scam baiting activity. What do you think?

Certainly, if it comes within a few messages, it is a sign to end the contact.
They are better chat media if you are comfortable with the person.

@mksworld I use both telegram and trillian but it is with people i've known a long time. An advantage is that you can search past chats relatively easily.
