Why Americans are like this? Hi I am Bob I live in AZ, I am supposed to know what the heck is AZ ?

They don't tell the name of the country, they just tell you the state they live in, it's even worse when they give you two letters, hi I am Kevin I from NY, what is NY??

Google is your friend. There has been plenty of things that my friends in my chat group have said where there was a language barrier, I just looked it up. I have a friend from Trinidad and Tobago he leaves me voice messages and most of the time I have no idea what he's talking about, especially when he's excited. I have to ask him to rephrase it.

@AngelUnforgiven but that's not about language, Americans always expect everyone to know each and every state city and county.

@BlueMushroom maybe because we don't have so many other countries around us and speak multiple languages like Europeans? By the way, its possible that "Americans" could refer to someone from North or South America?
