how do you deal with people who think they're better than you

i sometimes come across this online, someone who answers my post or replies to my comment in a way which tells me that they think they are better than me? superior to me in someway...and it really annoys me, but i'm not quick witted or clever with words so often get stuck for things to say back? so at times i feel really angry and ' doin my nut ' about it, trying to think of a way to respond?

any thoughts?

Ok, first, it's almost certain, there's no one here that is the absolute best at anything. Not a single subject. There are 8 billion people in the world and a few thousand active users here. It's just statistics. Second, there are many, many skills. Writing, math, conversation, empathy, and the list goes on. I'm good at some and bad at some. So are you. So is everyone. So it's easy for me to find people better than me at things I'm not good at.

This means you will go through your life running into people who are better than you at something. That's just a fact. Now you need to choose how to deal with that fact. Be happy and supportive of the skills that others have. Or be miserable.

Sometimes I have trouble interpreting what is posted as positive. And when I'm certain its not I either ignore it or post a silly meme in response. But that's just me.

They probably are. I waste time on SW.

I just let them think what they want, not worth the effort or time to interact with them.
Perhaps it's you who automatically thinks this about others.

I just don't care. Who is this hypothetical person? Why should his thoughts matter?
