Have you ever tried a 'live' chat site before? I have. The whole process kinda sucks actually if there's more than 2 people chatting. What that leaves then is what we have already which is PM's.
The problem with 'live' chat is that you have to stay active in the moment, otherwise it cuts off. Live chat therefore doesn't allow you to walk away to get something and come back 10 minutes later to pick up where you left off like PM's otherwise do.
For that reason, even if we had 'live' chat here, I'd never use it.
