In America is Christmas like a holiday for anyone?

Cuz where I'm from it’s mostly just kids and couples that celebrate and the couples treat it like a second Valentine's Day

Yeah it's for anyone who wants to celebrate it.. it's a big family holiday .. but i heard that days of big holidays are extra depressing for lonely people..
