Just letting off steam.

I am a fairly understanding person but right now, I'm not too sure if it's the late hour and lack of sleep or if my girlfriend has truly lost her mind. She is not making any sense. I've tried to get her to calm down and tell me what's going on but she is a mess. She is going through a lot right now. Her mom is in a mental hospital in a different state.. about 13 hours away..because she had a manic episode for the 3rd time in less than 2 days. Then my girlfriend found out that her kidney, yes I said that as a singular. Her right kidney is not functioning. Her left kidney function is down to almost 17% active. She said she wants to live to see her son grow up. She is eating right and giving it everything she has. It's just sad no one is willing to give her a kidney. Now her family has covid. And to make it worse because the universe can't let up... This storm caused a tree to fall on her house. Luckily she was at her brother's house when it happened. I'm not saying she has it worse than some people but come on... Give this poor girl a break. Anyway, this was more of a vent than anything.
