Insurance cover!!

On the 4th June I had a job interview, while I was on the job interview my new motorcycle was stolen. I have a social, domestic & pleasure cover policy, can the insurance company twist this situation so they can class it as commuting and therefore invalidate my insurance policy, I’m finding it really hard to get a straight answer?.

What is the legal definition of commuting in your country? Even if they can't legally classify it as commuting, can it be classified as social, domestic and/or pleasure?

I'm thinking you will need a lawyer to help you on this one.

They could not class it as commuting as it is not your place of work and is not part of your journey to get to your place of work.

Get a lawyer. Id tell the insurance company their policy was fraud and id ask back triple what you paid in.

As the other comment says you weren’t commuting so sdp still stands
