What is your favourite animal?

@dirge I have only seen one caracara in the wild. It had just caught a snake and was flying away with it. They are not common in our part of Texas.

@exexec they're on their way north. I found a [probably mating, one had nesting material in beak] pair in sw Louisiana early this year.

@dirge That was my guess, too. We have already seen a few species in our area that used to be found only in far south Texas.
