Remember the AOL chat rooms?

I met so many people through AOL back in 1990’s-00’s then it just died. Anyplace you go to now is filled with bots, porn, sext DMs and pervs. Are there any REAL chat rooms like AOL anymore? I miss those days of the internet.

AOL and similar chats were geared more for younger people, specifically jr high and hs students, us older people had mainly internet relay chats for more serious subject discussions, that format pretty much died out in the mid to late 00's when social media like Topix, EP, twitter, and fb came about.
