Obviously, we are all familiar with the phenomenon of men pretending to be women online, but are there any women pretending to be men?

For clarification I am not referring to Trans people, I do not believe trans people are pretending to be anything, I support anyone trying live their life, whatever that means. I love you Trans people, I hope you’re ok and not struggling.

I’m talking about catfishing and is it purely a male pretending to be female issue?

I knew of one woman here left the site and came back later with a new male profile.
I guessed who she was from her posts.
In PM she said that she wanted to avoid being constantly hit on and harassed as she had been in her original profile..
I kept her secret but the account eventually closed again

If you want to find that out try somewhere like second life there is both men pretending to be women and women pretending to be men, total give away is if it is a man pretending to be a women the avatar will have huge boobs and a huge ass about 90% of the time.

@SW-User Lesbians catfishing straight women. Not sure why but it could happen. 🤔 I don't understand what men pretending to be women might get out of it either.

@OneDayMore There was a woman on here once that confessed to pretending to be a man to see what would be the experience like. I don't know if she catfished with photos or just used M though. I've been mistaken for a man couple of times and I would say there's not much difference in experience. Maybe a lack of simping and more honesty.

They were always forthcoming with me though 😊
